The S335 steel is used to make hollow sections which are different in shape, such as square, rectangle and circular. 

The S335 Steel square is a square-shaped hollow tube. The steel coverings of the parts of this hollow section fall within the standard specifications of EN 10025 – 2004. Its width ranges from 2 to 30 mm, and its length ranges from 6 to 12 m. The section has a minimum yield strength of 50,000 Ksi. Although, the corrosion resistance is not so good. The blending and machining are relatively good. These square hollow parts have the following uses: Bridge Elements, Equipment Parts for Power Plants, Mining, Wind tower components, offshore equipment and equipment for handling loads. 

The S335 Rectangle is a rectangle-shaped hollow tube which can be formed through the cold and hot rolled process. These hollow parts have the benefit of being more rigid in twisting than round hollow sections, which are weaker in bending. Rectangular hollow sections are often used in both mechanical and structural applications. These rectangular sections provide ease of construction by connecting easily and joining with other metals. These hollow sections are utilised in various industries such as power plants, construction, pulp and paper, marine, manufacturing and offshore industries.

Circular hollow sections were the earliest type of hollow section of the grade S335. They are commonly used in several structural, mechanical, and construction-related fields. Good mechanical qualities, good strength, and good weldability are all present. These hollow section pipes and tubes are used in many industries like mining, construction of bridges, power plants etc. The few benefits and characteristics of hollow circular sections are their good blending and yield strength. Numerous businesses employ round tubes. Industries use a cold-forming sheet to create these hollow section pipes at room temperature.
