Super Duplex Steel UNS S32950 Rods are formed from an approximately 50/50 mixture of austenitic and ferritic phases and are sometimes referred to as austenitic-ferritic stainless steels. Super Duplex S32950 Round Bars combine the best attributes of both austenitic and ferritic stainless steels and provide high strength/ductility with good corrosion resistance to corrosion (including stress corrosion cracking).
